Origin Story

Hi, I'm Anand and welcome to my website.

 

As far as I can remember, I've always been enamored with games and the kind of experiences they provide. I've always loved playing them and quickly developed a deep curiosity about them and a want to contribute to the industry as well. My journey has taken me all around the world and I've gotten to be a part of some amazing and very special projects in a variety of roles in both AAA and Indie studios.

 

I am a graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Game Design and a certificate in 3Ds Max. Understanding the different aspects of Game Design and how the pipelines work to bring it all together is something that has and still does interest me a great deal. This website is a mix of the various aspects of games that interest me. It showcases projects that I have done in both professional and personal settings and includes both collaborative and solo endeavors.

 

Apart from gaming, I also enjoy spending my time watching movies, TV shows and football (will not call it soccer) and playing board games. I'm known to experiment in the kitchen and am almost always up to talk about superheroes.

Professional Projects

I've had the pleasure to work on a mix of professional projects of varying scale. These experiences have been amazing and it has been absolutely fulfilling to be able to contribute back to the industry.

Personal Projects

Apart from my professional projects, I've gotten to experiment and work with other designers and artists on various types of game projects. These were created using the Unity and Unreal Game engines.

Other Projects

Outside of designing video games, I've also tried my hand at other aspects of gaming. Working on Board games is always a new and unique challenge and an interesting way to look at many systems that can also be found in video games. Meanwhile studying basic 3D modelling and keyframe animation also gave me a whole new perspective on how game assets are created and can affect the game world. Both of these have given me additional context and  information relating to the game design process.
